Sílvia Biscaia
Silvia is a lawyer with over 30 years of experience. She has begun her career at one of the most prestigious law firms in Portugal, where she has been an equity partner for a decade. Throughout her professional career, she held senior legal and executive positions for one of Norway’s largest business groups, leading large-scale real estate and tourism projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams. Her expertise also includes strategic management of real estate companies and serving as General Manager of a tourism development, obtaining extensive experience in all compliance aspects applicable to tourism projects.
At BVA, Silvia combines her deep technical knowledge with a results-oriented approach, offering legal solutions that ensure security while delivering tangible outcomes.

Nélia Viegas
Nélia is a lawyer with extensive experience in Real Estate, Tourism, Labour, Family, and Litigation Law. She has been working in partnership with Sílvia Biscaia for over two decades, sharing a practical, close, and rigorous view of legal practice. She also served for 10 years as Director of Human Resources and responsible for the Legal Department of a tourism development, obtaining a broad experience in labour and compliance matters within the hospitality industry.
Known for her attention to detail, resilience, and adaptability to different contexts, Nélia provides legal counsel to both domestic and international clients, with an emphasis on building long-term relationships based on trust.
